too bad BioWare is making The Old Republic and probably has no will to release another MMO a year or two after it to compete with it

my hand got stolen just as i  started typing this ha silly wife.  i liked the shard the most, save for the epic battle bob and I had on his minst and my merc, in daoc.  all in all it was just like any other MMO you play though.  Grind play that toon.  grind play the next toon.  I am playing wow, and actually really enjoying it (they might have dumbed it down enough for a casual player to really be able to do the end game raids)  anyway though I would look into DAoC 2 but I do not ever see that happening or if they do they will royally fuck it up like EQ2 or something.  I am probably going to check out Old Republic or there is another superhero game coming out I might check out with one of my buddies on another ship down here in Mayport.  all in all DAoC has some great stories and great friends I made thru it but sadly I will never return i also remember wall camping with some twink stealthers with Nimbli =D silly Valks haha.

I think its going to be hard for DAOC to be topped in terms of fun for me anyway, it was my first MMO, and frankly the only one I could ever really be sucked into, all my best MMO times were on there



sadly I just don't have the grind time to really compete anymore if I were to play a MMO and if you can't compete its no fun IMO



I'm more into single player RPGs where if I get busy and can't play for a couple weeks I can pick it back up and nothing has changed or shooters where I can just hop in and play one 10 minute game every now and then

I'm playing Wizard 101 now. It's designed for kids, but is a surprisingly deep game. It plays like Harry Potter meets Magic: The Gathering. The combat system is the only one of it's kind, no button mashing or anything. It's free up to level 9 or 10 basically, but you have unlimited playtime and can compete in PvP forever with your level range.

As far as raiding, all raids are 4man dungeons that take about an hour or two to complete. Whenever a boss dies, each person gets their own drop set. So if the boss drops 2 items, each player gets 2 items, highly awesome.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to pass the time. It's a small download too if anyone still uses DSL.

We had it but traded it in for something, I think he wants to get it again soon though.

I'm playing Uncharted 2 right now and I still have Assassin's creed 2 and the new ratchet and clank wrapped up.

Oooooooooh I want him to bring home Uncharted 2 so bad, how are you liking it?

I'm almost done with it and it is an unbelievable experience. I've never played something like this. It really is like a freaking blockbuster movie.
